Gambling Habits in Youth

Gambling has become a status symbol these days and people who are into it, its tough for them to move out. It is considered to be an adult behavior but these activities are more of taken up in teenage and especially by college going guys and even girls at times. It has been a fashion in some parts of the country too. A report revealed that more than eighty percent of the high school students were caught in these gamb
ling activities in the urban areas and were found involved in the legal and illegal part of it. There is a high risk of getting into these days once when kids fall into bad companies and then there is no way out. And it is a fashion symbol in certain cultures too.
At times even parents encourage children to buy lottery tickets for fun without knowing the serious consequences of it on their kids. And kids enjoy gambling even at the young age of ten and become prospective gamblers later in life. Again these adolescent affect their studies and try to mint money and if the luck does not support them then they fall in debt. At times we feel the adolescent falls in it for money making but that is not true, on the contrary money supports them to carry on such activities and when they have more money in hand they keep falling more into it.
